California Issues Several Revised Notices

Jun 16, 2017

The California Department of Fair Employment and Housing has released updated “Workplace Discrimination and Harassment” and “Pregnancy Disability Leave” notices.

The California Department of Fair Housing (DFEH) revised its process for accommodating individuals who are deaf, hard of hearing or have speech disabilities. Also, individuals with a disability that prevents them from submitting a written pre-complaint form online or by email can be assisted by the DFEH and have a complaint written for them. Additionally, an overall redesign and a new section for “Filing a Complaint” were added to the notice.

The Family Care and Medical Leave and Pregnancy Disability Leave notice was revised with a new redesign and agency logo.

Subscribers will receive the updated notices by both mail and email. Others should inquire with our Compliance Specialists at (800) 333-3795.
