Wisconsin Updates It Unemployment Benefits Notice for 2017

May 19, 2017

The Wisconsin Department of Workforce Development has released an updated Unemployment Benefits notice.

The Department of Workforce Development updated their process for applying for unemployment insurance benefits. The option for applying for unemployment benefits via telephone was removed from the notice and replaced with a schedule for applying online. Telephone services can only be used for assistance with the online process.

Additionally, applicants that served in the military in the last 18 months must provide Form DD214 when applying for benefits. Federal civilian employee applicants must submit form SF-50 or SF-8 with their applications.

Subscribers will receive the modified notice in their next update mailing. Others should call our Compliance Specialists at (800) 333-3795 to inquire about obtaining the notice.
